Hi!
My name is Michelle Muratova. I graduated in 2024 from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Fashion Design and a Knitwear specialization. I have always prided myself on my hard work and intense passion for creating and learning.
While fashion is my primary focus, my life's goal is to be a true jack of all trades. I believe the more I learn and experience, the richer my work becomes. I am committed to continuously learning.
About Me

I see my fashion journey as an onion, with many layers.
Each one represents a new discovery, skill or perspective that adds depth and complexity to my work.
My interest in fashion design sparked in third grade and has only grown stronger over the years. I've had the opportunity to turn this passion into a career and I have decided to share my knowledge with others.
While working part-time at an art studio, I had the pleasure of teaching a Fashion Design class to children. Igniting their creativity and curiosity about the world of fashion.
Seeing their enthusiasm and growth was a truly rewarding experience. It reminded me of my younger self, and it reinforced how far I've come on this journey.

At the Fashion Institute of Technology, I took on the role of president of a club dedicated to fostering a fashion community of individuals eager to learn and connect. We offered insights from experienced professors and industry professionals. I organized many events and fundraisers and brought together many creatives.
Through these experiences, I've created spaces where learning about fashion is accessible and exciting. At the same time, I learned a lot about leadership and determination.

I'm so appreciative that you are here.
Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy my portfolio!
